The Tournament Club of Iowa is a premier public golf course for daily fee play and open for limited private and corporate golf outings.
The Tournament Club of Iowa is an Arnold Palmer Signature Course which will host the Allianz SR PGA TOUR Championship. The course is challenging, yet appealing to a wide cross-section of golfers. The course winds through hills, dramatic bluffs and timberland surrounding beautiful Big Creek and two major lakes. TCI includes Central Iowa’s newest and most exciting residential golf community.

The Tournament Club of Iowa covers almost 500 acres and measures 7,059 yards (Par 72) from the championship tees. It has a good mixture of open space and forest areas highlighted by hills, bluffs, ravines, valleys,  and mature canopied trees. Other features include:

Key Design Features:

  • Naturalized look that is unique to Iowa golf. Mature hardwood tree preservation throughout course site.
  • Substantial water features – Big Creek (over 1-mile) lakes and ponds. Water on 13 holes.

Practice Facility:

  • 300+ yards deep X 175 yards wide-”teeing” area equals 120 yards wide and 25 yards deep. Chipping area, practice sand etc. Includes several elevated and defined target bent grass greens plus substantial peripheral burning. All practice amenities. One of the best in the Upper Midwest!

Clubhouse:

  • The distinguished architectural firm Colonnade Design Group of Minneapolis designed the impressive and welcoming clubhouse.
  • This is a full service facility offering all golf amenities as well as upscale casual dining and banquet/meeting capability.

The daily fee rate for golf at Tournament Club of Iowa, INCLUDING power cart and range, will be $67.00. Applicable taxes are additional.

The Tournament Club of Iowa is located on the in the heart of Iowa’s recreation district near Saylorville Lake and below Big Creek Dam in Polk City, Iowa. The  course is located approximately ˝ mile west of downtown Polk City, 10 miles  from West Des Moines and 15 miles from Des Moines. Easy access from Interstate Highway 35 via the Elkhart Exit or via the Highway 141 exit.
