At first glance it looks like it could be a pushover, just the type of course you have been waiting for to play the round of your life. With men's tees starting at a meager 6,123 yards most would not imagine that it could be overly difficult. Until they realize that the course stretches to a monstrous 7,332 yards for those up to the challenge.
Located just a short distance from the world-famous Blackwolf Run, The Bull at Pinehurst Farms is already attracting comparisons. And why not? This is one of the most recent Jack Nicklaus Signature Courses, and one of his best! And it is the only Nicklaus Signature Course in Wisconsin. When asked to designate the "signature hole" Jack Nicklaus replied, "All of them. There's not a weak hole out here. We wanted to build 18 memorable holes. That's not easy to do." But he did it!
Amenities include a 1,200 square-foot pro shop, full service locker room and full service restaurant. five sets of tees, The Bull at Pinehurst Farms stretches from 5,252 yards
(women's tees) to 7,332 yards (men's championship tees). Winding its way
through 418-acres of mature woods, there are lakes, wetlands and the Onion
River that play a part in 15 of the 18 holes. From the first tee to the
final green the scenery and magnificent beauty of the setting is distracting
to even the most seasoned golfer. Miss a few putts or lose a few balls you
probably would not care. The experience is that overwhelming.
