Nike Slingshot Irons w/Graphite ShaftsNew for 2004 with a suggested retail of $899.00. Ten years in the making, the new Slingshot irons feature a metal bar arcing from heel to toe. This positions the CG low, rearward and in the heel of long irons to facilitate squaring the club head at impact and to create a higher ball flight for long, soft-landing shots. Features include: Custom 455 Stainless - 20 gram weight savings in the face over traditional stainless is repositioned further back in the club's "Slingback."; Air CG - center of gravity is suspended in air beyond the thickness of the face to launch the ball higher and help square the club at impact; 3-D Flow Weighting - Slingback design incrementally shifts the weight higher and towards the toe as club numbers get higher; Progressive Offset - gradually reduced from long to short irons for increased control and shotmaking; Enhanced Consistency - all clubfaces are Computer Numerically Controlled milled flat to within .002" and have engraved scoring lines to help ensure consistent and predictable ball flight and spin rates; Wide Sole - the wide constant sole width of the Slingshot irons increases effective bounce to help prevent digging and "fat" shots. This set features the Constant Weight Slingshot Graphite Shaft - A distinct graphite shaft is made for each numbered club head while maintaining the same static weight (lightweight - low to mid 70 grams depending on flex). This specifically tuned constant weight shaft provides increased club head speed, optimum distance control, stiffness progression and trajectory throughout the set. Grips are a proprietary rubber Slingshot grip designed to deliver maximum traction from minimal grip pressure. Men's sets come 3-9, PW. 50 degree AW and 55 degree SW available at an additional charge. Visit Nike Golf at http://www.nike.com/nikegolf for more information. |

Nike Ignite Titanium Driver w/Graphite ShaftNew for 2004 with a suggested retail of (Not Available) Ignite drivers feature NexTi Titanium Face — the hottest and strongest titanium ever created. Combine NexTi material with Around the Crown Construction — and the maximum head size of 460cc — and you have the biggest sweet spot in golf allowing you more of what it takes to hit it big. The NexTi face material allows for a head construction that results in an extremely wide COR at the limit allowed by the USGA. This is achieved in 2 ways: One, the inverted L face shape is a stronger structure than a mere flat face shape. Second, the weld lines are moved off the face, which expands the sweet spot all the way out to the edges of the hitting surface. Stock shaft is the new Ignite shaft by Fujikura — a soft tip profile delivers a higher launch angle and lightweight shaft increases clubhead speed for greater distance (mid 60 grams in X,S,R and sub 60 grams in Senior flex). Fujikura designed and engineered a high performance shaft specially for Ignite drivers. Custom shafts (special order) — Graphite Design YS-6, Aldila NV 65 and Grafalloy Blue. Overall club length is 45.25" Grip is the new Nike Ignite grip — delivers maximum traction from minimal grip pressure for great feel. Lofts — 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 and Lucky 13. 410cc model will also be available in 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5. Left-hand 460cc slated for production in 9.5 and 10.5. Nike Golf's next generation driver, the Ignite, has already been part of three professional victories thanks to Tiger Woods, Rory Sabbatini and Trevor Immelman. Expected date of availability is April 2004. Visit Nike Golf at http://www.nike.com/nikegolf for more information. |

Taylor Made Rescue Tour Preferred Mid Woods w/Graphite ShaftsNew for 2004 with a suggested retail of $330.00. Thanks to its forward-positioned center of gravity (CG), the TP Rescue delivers a lower launch angle and lower spin rate as compared to the standard Rescue. This allows players that generate higher clubhead speeds to hit the ball on a lower, more easily controlled trajectory. Features include: Higher moment of inertia than a long-iron with lower center-of-gravity; Lower launch angle and less spin that standard Rescue; Double-crown to enhance structural integrity and minimize head-distortion at impact; Double-sole to reduce sole area that contacts the turf resulting in less resistance at impact and promoting an "iron-like" feel through the hitting zone; Cambered sole from heel to toe to ease playability from all types of lies; Toe-biased CG increases the club's workability in both directions. Line M up™ is a ball mask/stencil that snaps onto your ball, so you can draw a perfect line around the ball. Use the line to accurately line up putts and tee shots, easy identification of your ball, and to practice putting. The Line-M-up™ is used on all major US Pro Tours and is legal to use in competition. I have heard commentators say, "You see that line on his ball?... I can't believe it's legal to use; it gives them such an advantage..." You will be amazed at how a simple device can save you strokes the very first time you use it. Visit Fine Tune Golf at www.finetunegolf.com for more information. |
