Each of the 18 holes has it's own unique character and setting, making it difficult to highlight one over another, but our par fives are particularly strong! The fourth at 525 yards is reachable but the second shot must be hit up hill to a plateau guarded by a large deep bunker. Both the 9th and the 18th holes rendezvous at the clubhouse and are connected by a large practice green creating one of the largest greens complexes in the world. The back-to-back par 5, 14th and 15th holes are particularly memorable. The 14th at 525 yards is reachable and offers a possible birdie but is well protected by trees and strategically placed bunkers. At the 600 yard 15th, most players will be happy with par, which is a score well protected by the hole's length and the fact that one of our 3 lakes come into play. Even on the player's third shot the target is very narrow, demanding an accurate iron shot before giving up a par! |
