		*The 3rd Annual Mesquite Amateur* presented by Wells Fargo and the Mesquite Resort Association will be conducted May 23 -27, 2005 and is open to all amateur golfers who have a current USGA (or equivalent Golf Association) handicap index as of the close of entries. The tournament will consist of three days (May 24-26) of net stroke play with the top players from each flight advancing to the Championship round at the CasaBlanca golf course on Thursday May 27th. 		*The ARCTIC OPEN (June 21 - 26, 2005):* A game of midnight golf seems an unlikely prospect to many enthusiasts and few golfers have experienced this delight. But now you have a novel opportunity to participate in an event which features round the clock golf in mid-summer at high latitudes. The Akureyri Golf Club hosts this tournament which is known as The Arctic Open Golf Championship. It is an international event which attracts golfers from various parts of the world. Players do not have to worry about darkness cramping their style because the sun barely dips below the horizon. This championship tournament is open to professional and amateur golfers alike. Played is by Stabelford points. Maximum exact handicap for men is 24 and 28 for women. Please note, a confirmation of handicap is required. Prizes are with and without handicap. The Golfers Handbook of the Royal Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, states that: "The most northerly course is the Akureyri Golf Club in Iceland which is situated 65° 40´ north of the Equator." 		*Ocean City Amateur Classic* will be held in Ocean City, Maryland June 26 - 30, 2005. This third annual Ocean City Amateur Classic is a three round, 54-hole event that is played on a variety of world class golf courses including River Run Golf Club & Community, Ocean City Golf and Yacht Club Seaside, and Rum Pointe. The event cumulating with qualifiers playing a final championship round at The Links at Lighthouse Sound combines for a premiere national amateur golf tournament. 		*The Volcano Open* July 3 -6, 2005 is a unique tournament played in Iceland's Westman Islands. Set in an old Volcano this is a great test of golf. 		*The seventh Third Bank Michigan Women's Open Pro-Am (MI):* There are still a few slots left in the Fifth Third Bank Michigan Women's Open Pro-Am, July 11 -13. This tournament is open to anyone who enjoys the game of golf. It is a 36-hole event, and teams (either mixed or women-only) will be competing for some great prizes such as airline tickets, golf equipment and golf vacations.
