It's
time to nominate The Top 100 Courses in the USA for 2005!
Last year we asked our
readers to vote for their favorite golf courses. Our readers
responded enthusiastically, the votes were tabulated, and there were
quite a few surprises. Some facilities that we expected to be at or
near the top were either further down the list than anticipated, or
were not able to accumulate enough votes to even be in the top five
in their respective state.
Now we are giving our readers another opportunity to have their
votes count. It is time to nominate the "Top 100 Courses"
for 2005! So Golfer's Dream Magazine wants to hear from you no later
than March 15, 2006. Simply make your selections (maximum of 10) and
submit them to
.
So how well did the best courses in your state rank nationally last
year? Which are the top five courses in your state? See
the list here... |

Credit card scam artists have been
targeting golfers in a big way the last few years. Obviously playing
off a golfers biggest weakness to try something or anything that
would improve his or her game. The scam usually involves a phone
call offering the golfer the opportunity to test new equipment for
no charge. In reality, they are charged excessive security deposits
for inferior product. Read

| Lakewood
Golf
You can do anything to distract your
opponent but touch him or the ball. Originating in Dallas, the game
allows screaming, yelling, firing guns - anything to throw the
golfer off. One story has it that a legendary hustler named Titanic
Thompson could never master the game of golf. His friends took
Lakewood to the limit when they drove a golf cart right at Thompson
just before he hit his shot. Bored with your current wagering?

Unprepared!
After hitting his tee shot deep into
the woods, the golfer turned to his caddie.
"Did you see where that one went?" he asked.
"No sir, as a matter of fact I didn't," replied the
caddie.
"Well, why didn't you watch where it went?" snapped the
angry man.
"Frankly, sir," said the caddie, "I was quite
unprepared for it to go anywhere."
